New regulations require you to “Say Yes” to Overdraft Payment Services by August 15, 2010, to continue receiving, or participate in, the overdraft services that protect your account. Bossier Federal’s Overdraft Payment Service is a convenient feature of your checking account that gives Bossier Federal the discretion to pay transactions, including ATM and debit card transactions, when your account does not have sufficient funds to pay the item.

As a result of the new federal law, unless you give us permission, we cannot continue to offer the overdraft services you may expect to receive on your debit card and ATM transactions after August 15, 2010. Without your permission, any overdrawn purchases made with your debit card, or ATM withdrawals exceeding your balance, will be DECLINED beginning August 15, 2010.
