Effective July 1, 2008, Bossier Federal Credit Union will officially changed its name to Envision Federal Credit Union!  Several years ago the credit union amended its charter allowing us to serve members in three parishes.  Because we now serve a larger geographic area, a name change is required to more accurately reflect the membership that has developed over the last few years.  You’ll still see the same, friendly faces at our locations.  Personal service and financial security remain our top priority.

Why is Bossier Federal Credit Union changing names?

Because we now serve a larger geographic area, a name change is required to more accurately reflect the membership that has developed over the last few years. In addition to the city of Bossier, we now serve three parishes.



Is Bossier Federal Credit Union moving away from its affiliation with school and city employees?

Not at all! In fact, Bossier Federal Credit Union is proud of our 54-year history with the Bossier Parish School Board employees, the City of Bossier residents and the Parish of Bossier. Far from being a move away from our roots, this change is in reality a proactive step towards becoming a better partner with the area and our broadened field of membership.



How will this affect my membership status?

The name change will have no impact on member status.



Will my Bossier Federal Credit Union ATM and credit cards still work?

You can still use your current Bossier FCU ATM, debit and credit cards. Your old cards will eventually be replaced with updated ones.



Can I still use my Bossier Federal Credit Union checks and deposit slips?

You can continue to use your Bossier Federal Credit Union checks and deposit slips. When you run out of checks or deposit slips, your new ones will have the new name and logos.



Is the management or Board of Directors changing?

No. You'll still see the same friendly folks at the Main Office and all branches.



Will I have to change automatic drafts and direct deposits?

Automatic drafts and direct deposits are routed using the same transit and account numbers as now. These numbers have not changed, so there is no need to update this information.



Is Bossier Federal Credit Union changing ownership?

The credit union is not under new ownership. In fact, the members are still the owners!



Will this affect my loans, savings and investments?

The name change will not impact on any of your accounts.



What are some of the positives of the name change?

Members will continue to enjoy superior service. Rates on deposits and loans will remain competitive. Our growth and increased resources will allow us to serve our members even better. A new name, but an old commitment.
